 Air Chainsaws
Pistol grip and telescopic extensions.
When using air chainsaws, additional oil lubrication is required for the chain. We make a holding rack which holds oil. Each time the saw is replaced in the rack it receives additional lubrication.

 Hydraulic Outlets in cage
When using hydraulic pruning tools hydraulic outlets are required. We fit 3/8"quick disconnect release couplings, bypass valve and relief valve to the cage to protect the hydraulic tool.

Picking Bag - Standard
 The standard picking bag is fully padded with multiple filling stages and a drawstring to eliminate bruising - only requiring four bags to fill one bin.

 Picking Bag - Deluxe
The New Deluxe picking bag (2016) is fully padded with four filling stages and offers added protection from limbs by a steel cover which eliminates all bruising The bag fully retracts inside the bottom of the frame - requiring 5 to 6 bags to fill one bin.

The standanrd engine is a 16hp v-twin Vanguard. Some applications require extra horsepower so recommend a 21hp v-twin Vanguard petrol.

 Low voltage insulation
Tested and certified to AS1418.10. Includes rubber coated cage, boom and stabilizer bar; insulated hydraulic hoses and cage pivots. There are multiple points of insulation joints so good insulation is maintained. The Squirrel cage still has safe, fast rear access through a gate - no climbing over the top of the cage. Recommended for street tree pruning near power lines.

15.5" Wide Drive Wheels
31x1550x15x 8 ply wheels pictures on Left. 26x1200x12 pictured on right (std). The larger wheel provides maximum traction and stability. This option is recommended when working in very soft or steep ground conditions. When these are fitted the caster wheel is also raised. The outside width of the tyres do not change.

 Rocker Bogey drive wheels
This option provides the best traction and stability. The engine must be upgraded to 21hp.

Hydraulic wheel shift
The drive wheels are hydraulically extended and retracted for transport. Wheels are pushed out and held under pressure as the Squirrel is driven along (approx 10 metres). By switching a hydraulic valve, wheels are retracted in the same manner. This function is fast, safe and fool-proof.

Tail lights
Tail lights (LED) are fully protected from prunings. They are required if working on the roadside or towing along roads.

 Amber flashing Beacon
Amber light is fully protected from falling debris. This option is recommended if working on the roadside or industrial sites. Some applications may require two lights.

 Two man cage
Two man cage with hand controls provides ample room for two people. Five tool trays are incorporated into the front & rear of the cage. This is ideal for hire fleets and construction work. The cage hydraulically rotates 45º left and 45º right. Controls are directly mounted, allowing the operator to phase all movements. This option is available only on 536LB, 656LB and 80 5 Squirrel.
This option is not available with low voltage insulation.

 Hand Controls One Man Cage
Single man cage with hand joystick drive controls. The cage has a 100mm longer floor so that the operator has room to move without bumping the pedals. This is ideal for hire fleets and industrial applications. The cage still rotates 60º left and 60º right.
