Over the past 12 months Crendon Machinery has been redesigning their range of larger Squirrels. The first of these will be available soon. They are radically different to our current Squirrels and to other units in the market.

Over the past 12 months Crendon Machinery has been redesigning their range of larger Squirrels. The first of these will be available soon. They are radically different to our current Squirrels and to other units in the market.
- Very compact in length using a 2 boom principle, shorter in length than the maximum height
- Crab steer for drive wheels, will be a standard feature
- Hydraulic pilot proportional controls, only small low pressure lines in the boom
- Less pressure on foot pedals due to new type of valves
- "Ground floating" bin forks, prongs will automatically follow the ground contour
- New "seat belt" system (automatically closes when the rear gate is closed)

 | Larger, wider tyres now available for Squirrels. New tyres are 31x1550x15 8 ply with tractor grip style tread 330mm wide (shown left). The standard tyre is 26x1200x12 8 ply with 280mm wide tread (shown right). The new tyres work well in sandy or soft muddy conditions. |

 | Crendon Machinery has recently upgraded our hydraulic swaging equipment to a touch screen numerical control unit. We have also purchased a touch screen numerical control hydraulic hose tester which can test hoses up to 20,000 Psi in several cycle levels. This has enabled us to ensure the quality of our hose assemblies before installing in our equipment. |
